Colorfoto’s support for Save The Children in 2009 culminated in a classical music concert at Holy Cross Church Cowbridge, on Saturday, 12th September. The international performers displayed their outstanding talents to a packed audience, and due to avid local interest, organisers are already planning a similar event for next year. Colorfoto printed complimentary tickets, flyers and programmes for the concert and the final amount raised will be announced shortly.

Local primary schools took part in a music initiative in support of Save The Children. They listened to excerpts of classical music that were played at Holy Cross Church Cowbridge on 12th September, and a number of drawings were chosen and included in the event programme. The children represent Howell’s School, Gwenfo, St Bride’s Major, St David’s, Colwinston, Llansannor and Llanharry C/W Primary Schools and Ysgol Iolo Morganwg, who were presented with complimentary posters of their drawings.

Our charity support continued in 2009 when we invited school staff to our 6 Nations School Rugby events for Save The Children. School headteachers and teachers attended to watch the matches on plasma screens at venues in Swansea and Cardiff. Their donations and our auction raised a fantastic £1362 for the charity.

Holy Cross church in Cowbridge was the venue for a wonderful evening of classical music. Hugely talented, young musicians delighted a packed audience, and the proceeds raised will be announced shortly.
