Save The Children Certificate

In recognition of Colorfoto’s support for Save The Children in 2009, we are very proud to announce that we have been nominated by the charity as ‘Corporate Fundraiser of the Year’. Our support has taken various forms, from monetary donations to publicity material and photography services. In our daily involvement with schools, Colorfoto is constantly reminded of the needs and aspirations of children, and we hope our support of Save The Children will serve in some way to help those who are least able to fend for themselves.

Colorfoto’s support for Save The Children in 2009 culminated in a classical music concert at Holy Cross Church Cowbridge, on Saturday, 12th September. The international performers displayed their outstanding talents to a packed audience, and due to avid local interest, organisers are already planning a similar event for next year. Colorfoto printed complimentary tickets, flyers and programmes for the concert and the final amount raised will be announced shortly.

Local primary schools took part in a music initiative in support of Save The Children. They listened to excerpts of classical music that were played at Holy Cross Church Cowbridge on 12th September, and a number of drawings were chosen and included in the event programme. The children represent Howell’s School, Gwenfo, St Bride’s Major, St David’s, Colwinston, Llansannor and Llanharry C/W Primary Schools and Ysgol Iolo Morganwg, who were presented with complimentary posters of their drawings.
